Delete from the app
- Open Caring and tap the Settings (gear) icon.
- Tap Delete account.
- For your security, sign in again with a fresh verification code if Caring asks you to.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
You are signed out straight away and deletion starts within a few minutes.
Delete by email
If you can no longer use the app, email support@caring-app.com from any address, with the subject "Delete my Caring account" and the mobile number you signed in with. We will confirm that the number is yours by sending it a verification code, then delete the account within 7 days.
What is deleted
- Your account, name, mobile number and sign-in sessions.
- Care profiles you own, with all their medicines, schedules, doses, readings, check-ins, bookings, rewards, addresses and notes.
- All photos, documents, recordings and videos in those profiles.
- Your devices and notification tokens, and your access to other people's care circles.
What may be kept, and for how long
- Encrypted backups, which are deleted automatically within 90 days.
- Care information you added to someone else's care profile stays in that profile, because it belongs to their care record.
- Records we must keep by law, if any, only for as long as required.
Deletion is permanent. If you want a copy of your information first, use Settings → Export care data before deleting.
